The Account Coordinator will be responsible for optimizing video content for social platforms across a range of verticals. The day-to-day role will include video optimization, social post generation and optimization, simple analytical report generation, graphic design, copywriting, channel maintenance, content logging, channel uploads and other general support to the Social Video Services team.

HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Helping to build and maintain social media channels: specifically Facebook, TikTok and Instagram. Optimizing video assets with Photoshop designed thumbnails and well-written titles/descriptions, utilizing all available social platform product features, contributing with creative ideation and uploading to a schedule agreed upon with the social video services team
- Growing a social video audience, and understanding the types of content that keeps people engaged on different platforms
- Helping to ideate content and posts, and sourcing moments from long form video content or partnered YouTube channels to create engaging new social posts
- Applying community management best practices on each platform, including responding to posts in the correct brand voice, creation of images, GIFs and social posts
- Writing copy for posts on social platforms, understanding the importance of editorial voice and tone
- Using platform-specific analytics to help inform strategic channel decisions
- Managing a materials library, following existing edit processes and naming conventions
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and the differences between them, specifically as they relate to video best practices
- A basic understanding of social media analytics
- Good working knowledge of Photoshop to create thumbnails and posts
- Excellent knowledge of different videos formats, video compression, sound/video synchronization
- Some knowledge of the platform specific content management systems and other video platforms (bonus)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof-check your own work
- Team player with a hard-working flexible attitude, a good sense of humor and an interest in working in a dynamic start-up environment
- Proficiency in other languages (bonus)
Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
